I am a recent graduate from UC Merced. I obtained my B.S. in Biology. I have 2 years of research experience which I hope to utilize within my blogs. I have been on planet earth for 22 years and within these times I have been blessed to see many beautiful places. I am a nature enthusiast and traveler but every time I travel I am always shocked to find out how vulnerable those places I go are.
I started blogging because it is a powerful tool to get to the masses. Unlike a complicated scientific journal which is filled with terminology and jargon that caters only to the scientific community, blogs are more digestible and incredibly informative. I love science and I love reading the complicated peer review journals but they are not for everyone. I want to make content backed by science that also caters to everyone.

It has always been a dream of mine to make YouTube videos. I was holding it off because of college and I didn’t have that one topic I felt strongly about. With every blog I write, I am proving to myself that climate change is it. This is my problem that I want to tackle.

I want to make blogs that are mistake proof but that’s not possible. Having a community that questions and fill in the gaps of my knowledge is crucial. This is where my editors and you come in play. Being told that I am wrong is painful but it’s necessary to expand my knowledge and get closer to the truth. So you can reach out to me about any errors or disagreements you may have with my posts. I will have a special forum where you can make corrections or add more knowledge to the existing blogs.
